C ionian - 7 positions - from 5th degree
Stay in position III, stretching finger 4 to reach notes outside of it.
You could also try staying in position IV, and stretching finger 1.

Stay in position II. Stretch finger 1 to reach notes outside of it.
C ionian - 7 positions - from 1st degree
Stay in IX position. Stretch finger 1 to reach notes outside of it.
